What is PREHABILITATION?

“PREHAB” is used to CORRECT the body and PREPARE the body to perform. Our JOINTS and MUSCLE TISSUES have specific MOVEMENTS to achieve. BUSINESS PROFESSIONAL and ATHLETES perform repetitive movements and this leads to OVERUSE and MUSCULAR IMBALANCES. In order to successfully REDUCE INJURY and IMPROVE PERFORMANCE,  PREHAB should be performed prior to activity. “PREHAB” in its entirety consists of 5 steps:

1.     Foam rolling

2.     Static stretching

3.     Muscle activation/hip, core, shoulder strengthening

4.     Mobility drills

5.     Dynamic Movement
